I am just wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to get the phone to ring through the car speaker when I make a phone call, because now it only comes through the car speaker when the call is answered and that is very disturbing because I always miss a few words of the phone call.

I think it only rings through the speaker when you use the touch screen / speed dial. when you dial manually there is a short delay while the phone connects to the car Bluetooth rather than the other way round. My GS is exactly the same.
