Chrome Grills Gs300? And Stone Chips

Hi all, is there such a thing as a chrome grill for a GS300 Mk1 (97P)

and the second question is whats the best way to deal with stone chips?

mate, yes there is such a thing, but a real chrome grill will costs you megabucks!

personally, I'd stay away from the fake chrome grill. I doubt it would look as good as real chrome.

you should be able to get touch up paint from lexus, if you have lots of stonechips, you need a respray :winky:

the crome kits that you get from eBay are good i got one for my ls400 and it sets the front of he car off i took the grill off to do it and gave it a good clean and i have had it on there for a few months and no prob

Cheers guys, I think I may just have a go at the eBay stuff, its cheap as chips and I suppose done carefully would look quite cool, i also think it would protect the original from those nasty stones.

I have just had my car polished up and a few stone chips painted in; the bodywork came up fantastic but I was dissapointed with the quality of work on the stone chips, i thought they'd be better repaired at a pro shop but I could have done better, and will later

Hi Lee,

I know you've had your chips done now but for any further problems try this http://www.chipsaway.co.uk/. I have 4 areas looked at on my gold GS for £60. They use special quick drying paint and will come to your home or work. It is a franchise so I guess quality can vary but the guy I used was top.

Thanks for the heads up GS, will bear them in mind the next time I need repairs, you never know I might buy a franchise too lol! ;)
