Auto Lights

Hi

Have Is200 53 plate, the auto light function seems less sensitive on this car to my last Is200.

I think it is possible to adjust, prob via laptop and obd.

Dealers want £50 to plug in the computer......nice.

so questions......

1. Can you buy lead and software to run on laptop (did this once for audi using Vag-Com)

2. What software and lead work.

3. Can the lights be adjusted.

Any help would be great

thanks matt

The only answer I can give is yes it can be adjusted, mine was adjusted by the dealer on my IS200. I had to provide the instructions and they insisted on asking Lexus GB for permission first !!

It used the Lexus Diagostic tester:

(Light Auto OFF

Delay)

30s Delay time for headlights to turn off after IG is

OFF and all doors are closed, with light control

SENSITIVITY NORMAL Setting sensitivity at LIGHT2 turns the automatic

headlights ON in brighter ambient light

conditions.

Setting at DARK2 turns the automatic headlights

ON with darker or less ambient light conditions.
