Boot Leaks

Under the carpet in my boot there are two recesses either side of the spare wheel. The drivers side seems to have a lot of sealant around the edges of it, whereas the passengers side has none, but there's a little puddle forming at the bottom. What looks like the wiring for the parking sensor is down in this recess, and was getting quite wet (probably the reason for my dodgy sensor) so ive now wrapped the connections up in a plastic bag to keep them dry. Has anyone else had this leak and does anyone know where its leaking from?

a few of us have had puddles in either or both recesses in the boot, i'm not sure what the cause is. I removed the drain plugs to keep it puddle free.

Yes i had the same problem i noticed that the sealent in the well was not the best so used some silicon on it and now cured.
