How High Am I!?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I was looking to get my "99 IS200 Sport lowered, using TTE -30mm springs. But i've heard that the sport model from that year is already lowered by 15mm.(is that true?)

Does that mean that with the springs ill only get a another 15mm lower? or is there a set of springs especially for the sport?

Also i think the fitment on my 18 inch wheels is 215/35/18, is it lightly that ill get rubbing on the arches when its dropped?

nope the 99 model isnt lowered.

so even if it was already 15mm lower, the springs would lower it another 15 mm, should be fine to fit 18 wheels with the TTE springs

I am sure the sport model is lower already out the factory than the SE,

and from what i remember 15mm sound about right.

I bought an exdemo car from lexus and although it is not a sport, has the chrome tailpipe and lower ride height.
