On Monday of this week I had my car serviced at Lexus Newcastle and was extremely dechuffed that it hadn't been washed an valeted. Anyway, I dropped an email to the Dealer Principal yesterday and today received a very apologetic letter from him in the post offering to pick the car up and wash/valet it plus put £10 of fuel in. Not only that he offered £100 off my next service. Well done Lexus you have restored my faith in the brand.

Slightly but is it part of the service to clean the car ? not had mine back at the dealer for a service yet, but it's only a few months away and it would be nice to know what to expect, it will be it's 70k

Apparently it's in their customer charter (in black and white or not). Most dealers do it, mainly to remove oily marks and things they might leave behind.

But NBLG you got a result. With all of my problems I got zilch and I don't care, I have no loyalty!!

I have had my car serviced twice since I had mine, and they (Lexus Croydon) have always cleaned the car inside and out... Although I tend to keep it clean etc. anway.

Wonder if you can say that the cleaning wasn't done very well...
