Couple Of Somple Questions

Hi there still a bit of a new user, and i dont ever use computersso not sure on a couple of things .

Sometimes if i try to add more pics to gallery , or to reply to certain topics it wont let me, it says something to do with admin not let me yet or something, to use these facilities do i need to become a Gold member ?

Or is the fact that cause i dint ever use computers i am just being simple and doing some thing wrong.
