91-92 2jz-gte Info

I'm about to get my valve stem seals ordered, as they've started to go, and noticed a few parts from the early 2jz-gte are different to the 93 onwards ones.

Like the valve stem seals for example.

Not sure what the difference is, but has a different part number.

Just thought I'd post it up, as might save someone the hassle of getting the wrong parts if they're ordering from the j-spec supra part numbers.

I have no interest as yet in the 2jz lump but any knowledge like this is always good knowledge!!

Does this only apply to J-spec engines??????

Seal are the same from 91-97. I would have to check 97 onwards.

As there are different part numbers for different years

Same physically, I belive it is a superceded part number.
