Hot Days

i have the is200 sport and i think it is much quicker on cooler days than hot days, does anybody else agree, if so how do i get it running the same on hot days as cold??? or am i talking rubbish !!!

Have you tried the basics ......... sport grille ? Rad panel ............ induction ?

You are correct, cold air is more dense and hence has more oxygen in it, this allows the ECU to inject more fuel to keep the air/fuel ratio correct. Burning more fuel means more power.

As ScarFace said an induction kit this lets the engine breath better and as the air gets to the engine faster it is also cooler than it would be with the standard air box. More air = more power.

Something i find it the clutch and gear change easier when its cold, then when it warms up starts to get a bit clunky and juddery to pull away, is this just me ????????

i was referring to the fact that if the intake air is cooler (on a cool day), it is more dense....therefore more O2, therefore more fuel :D
