For years, I have been using BBC.CO.UK, but fancy a change. The problem is that I don't really know what else is out there...I chose the Beeb because it provides a good balance (news, Sport, Kids etc), but was wondering if anyone has anything with more pizazz.

So, what do you get popping up when you log in?

Use firefox with multiple browser tabs - that way you can have multiple home pages, I have 8 that come up by default including my web email, all the forums I regularly use, plus some work stuff.

Firefox also has a (Google or any other) search box up the top so you don't need google or anything like that as a home page.

Blank page is the way to go :)

Why wait for a web page to load that you probably don't want to read anyway, especially if you're opening a new browser window. Consumes less bandwidth too :D

Looks I'm the only one with LOC as my home page

I use Opera with a saved session, homepage is Yahoo but 3 load up when I open Opera. LOC being one of them ;)
