Would You Swap?

I've never sat in, driven or known anyone who's owned one. Still doesn't stop me wanting one though - I've always thought they were superb, and that one was/is in very good condition.

Fast as well, but not exactly economical!

The guy also might be an enthusiast as there's a silver one in the background too.

Hi,

Yep the RX7 when there running right is a very quick car and the road holding is very good.

But the Engines can be alot of trouble and expensive to put right and there very poor on fuel, not when you look at buying that sort of car your after mpg :D

Heres a link to a engine rebuild thread of a friend of mine who had to rebuild his engine not long after he bought his, might be worth you seeing what your getting into before you spend your money.

yep had one and everything chips said is true the reason for the engine rebuilds is that the sintered tips on the rotors go and obviously you lose compression. However they are fantastic to drive look beautiful and corner like they are on rails.

Big downside is you need to know them as specialists are few and far between even with the RX-8 being around.

This is the one car that would make me um and arr about getting a supra :winky:
