Headlight Conversion For The Continent

This is the first trip I am taking abroad in the RX400.

Does anyone have any experience/advice on the best way to convert the headlight beams for Continental driving?

I understand Halfrauds do a kit,is it any good for the RX?

The Halfords kit is fine and easy to use. The only drawback is the cost and the fact that they are only good for one trip. Don't forget the other stuff you will need.

Spare bulb kit

First aid kit

2 triangles

Reflective vests (one for each occupant)

Fire extinguisher

Depending upon where you are going but the above should cover the whole of Europe.

Thanks for the info dhs,I've got most of what's on the list,so I guess it will be a trip down to Halfords for the headlight converters.

I bought headlight beam deflectors from Halfords for my previous car but before using them I photocopied them onto clear overhead projector film. An alternative is to scan them into a computer and print them on the same type of acetate with a laser printer.
