Hi guys for a few days now ive noticed a slight rubbing noise like metal to meatal just ever so slightly coming from the drivers front/rear wheel is this a sign of a sticking calliper????? or is there another common fault i'm not familliar with

Got another 200mile journey this afternon so if i have to get it fixed before hand then so be it.

I can drop into my local brake specialist but obviousley dont want to pay out if its not sticky calliper so any input would be great.

Thanks in advance

If its your calliper, you will need to strip it down, i dont know how good you are at thing like this ? as Mike says take wheel off to see if its something other that the calliper.

Cheers Guys ill take the wheel off and try and find the fault but if its anything to do with brakes or stripping down ill leave to the expert at least by checking ill know its is/not the calliper it will save me some time and cash

Just got me wondering (if) i get Lexus to fix this do you think they would give me a coutesy car while i'm away for the weekned? i realise it may cost me a bit more but emmm would be nice

Regards

Gordon

Hello

Dont know if this is too late, but i also get the noise from the front drivers side breaks. I think ive sussed it down to a very slightly warpped disc!! ?This is cos ive had the calipers off, no problem there, and there are brand new pads in that ive just fitted!! If it is the same problem new discs in order??
