Hi there,

I have two Lexus IS200, one with LSD and the other with standard non-LSD differencial.

What I want to know is if I can swap the diferencials directly without change any other parts.

Do the LSD will feat in the non-LSD place and reverse? Must I have any concern about this change?

Sorry about my english.

Best regards

But as I know it, the housings are iqual ni both of the diffs.

I will not modify the inside of them. I want to change the diff's housing without open it.

As they seems to be iqual, as well as the axels, what backlash and bearings are you talking about?

Thanks for the help! :D

Will a LSD for Altezza RS200 fit the IS200 ?

Yes, I've done that. But you need to fit the left and right axle stubs from the IS diff to the Altezza diff, as the driveshaft bolt patterns (4 vs 6 bolts) are different. And for that you need to fit new bearing seals (penny parts, but special tools needed).
