New Tyres Ordered

Hi all,

I've just ordered 4 new Toyo proxies T1 tyres online but am just wondering do i need 4 new valves as well?

definitely need one new valve , as today when trying to put in some air i couldn't get the dust cap off, so used the pliers in the boot to assist ..... bad idea as now if i move the valve i can hear air sissing out...

Would any tyre shop have new valves ? or are they specific to different alloys?

cheers

its allways good practice to replace the valves

at a few £`s its not worth not doing

why not stick some alloy valves in

or the flush mount ones , at least they wont nick your dustcaps

Sounds good... can these be got easily or on eBay..... One size fit all?

At least you'd be certain that they were actually changed then....

cheers

I think the valves are different for different sized alloys?

tyre valves are all the same size unless you have a old metro or land rover

you should always change the valve as for about a pound its not worth going back a few months saying the valves are leaking

i always change them when doing tyres even if i do a punture unless the customer says not too
