Tire Size - Help

Recommended Posts

I am the new owner of a 2001 RX300 AWD USA Model. I am also a new member to this forum.

My question:

I will need tires fairly soon for my RX. The orginal size is 225/70-16 and the manual cautions owners not to deviate from the original size and type of tire. I want to go with a slightly larger and wider tire size utilizing the original Alloy Wheels with a street tred, not a truck tred. I want to fill the wheel well a little more however, I don't want body interference when turning or normal operation. Any information or help or suggestions with regard to experiences in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Paul
