Vibrations From The Roof Lining - Is There An Easy Fix?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Been meaning to ask this for a while but keep forgetting...

The roof lining in the car vibrates when a song with any bass is played - it's audible from the outside of the car and seems to be caused by something in the roof lining as if you press that it stops...

The dealer took a look a while ago and said something about something coming off the hooks - is this something that a spacker like me could fix?

It isn't as bad when the sunroof is closed, and seems to be coming from above the rear passenger side seat area to give an idea of location...

Thanks in advance!

there are a few press fit plugs that need removing, these are towards the rear of the healiner

you need to remove the side roof casing/trim pieces, the rear 3/4 panel covers need removing, and the sunvisors need removing, and unplugging, also the a and b pillar covers need removing,
