Do you know what I've been wondering since i saw that clip....

If he put his legs straight down was there enough power to actually gain altitude ? or just slow slow his descent considerably?.....

hot water bottle fuel tanks are a scream...lol

Class!!! He says he is was able to maintain a level of 2000feet for about 30secs!!!!

How would you steer it though??

I guess altering the throttle on either "leg" would induce some sort of crude yaw control for direction. Yhese small turbines are increasingly popular in the R/C model flying world...however still expensive ( relatively) :D

no because the max thrust generated (in general) from engines of that size is a max of approx 30LBS so he would have a theoretical 60LBS of thrust.
