Is200 Locking

Recommended Posts

As the title, I just locked the IS and heard the locks go but no indicator flash, tried pressing the lock button again and got the usual locking sound again (I assume deadlocking) and 5 flashes. Unlock and the indicators flash twice as they should. I have checked and all the doors and the boot are properly closed, all windows are fully up and the roof closed.

Question is does this indicate a fault with the alarm system?

TIA

Neil

if you get no flash and the sound of the locks it norm means one door is not shut properly, did you try the doors after the first button push?

Looked at them all and they looked to be shut, did not open and close them all to make sure.

Will give that a try.

Thanks

Does anyone know what the 5 flashes means the secound time you press the lock button or what happens when you push the lock button twice?

if you get 5 flashes the second time you press the lock button, deadlocks are deactivated and so is the interior sensor. But all the info is in the owners manual!
