Valvoline Vr1 10w-50

Was round my local motor factors yesterday to get filters and oil to do a service on the IS and the Tezza.

The bloke there, who runs an Evo, recommended the VR1 as opposed to the Castrol Edge 0w-40 that I wanted. Price was good as well at £29 for 5 litres so decided to go for it.

I am now having second thoughts, any opinions from you guys?

Cheers

Neil

Well did the job yesterday and the VR1 is in, for better or worse, will see how it goes.

Did the IS as well and if I ever get my hands on the person who put the 1G-FE oil filter there I will murder them

Edit: It is actually 10W-60 not 10W-50!
