i need a auto box sump for my mk3 but i can not find one at the mo

so does any one know if any other mk's fit or if they all have diff. boxes

or if any one has one

as i have a leak on mine and it has a dent by the dipstick tube

You are going to have to take the pan off if you exchange it, so why not just repair it? I do not beleive that the transmission sump will ever be under any pressure, just heat from the oil inside it. If there is a leak/hole/damage caused by impact, you could fill it with a high temp glue (like a liquid metal compound) or have it spot welded.

I seem to think that the transmission is the same between all the LS400s so I guess the pans are all the same too. It is not too heavy, perhaps you could get one from the states.

The place i gust got my radio from has a 1995 MK3 that is being dismantle for spares, you can give them a ring on Monday 0161 834 6479
