A couple of quick points that I don't think anyone has really mentioned:

220d has only one not as cool looking exhaust. 250 has dual exhausts.

220d is a lot more noisy (outside of the car that is) than the 250.

And 220d is ONLY in manual. 250 got both options.

Regarding above, any reason why the diesel has such a crappy exhaust .Why not one chrome exhaust , is there a problem with heat or something?
