Caller Id Bug In Is250 Mm

Has anyone else experienced caller ID problems in the MM on their IS250?

Noticed caller ID didn't come up when a friend called today, just his phone number. After some

playing about, discovered that if the number is in the MM as +44 xxxx you wont get the name

come up, if it is 01234 it does.

Pretty poor, as who doesn't roam these days and keep numbers in their phones in international

format :(

I discovered this also - I had to edit my entire phonebook to make caller ID work.

Sounds like the software engineering team dropped the ball there - report it to customer services and see what they say!

Blimey, think you'd be better staying away from any critical IT systems at the moment - you're jinxed :D

It might be easier to just give them a call and see what they say then, at least they can take your details and get back to you with an answer, you'd hope that this would be an easy sofftware upgrade but that then depends on whether it's easy for them to upgrade or whether they'd have to swap the whole unit out.

Also depends on whether they've actually fixed it though!

are you sure you've not got his number in your mobile twice ?

as this can have the same affect
