Handbrake Indicator On Dashboard?

while im driving with handbrake down (obvious), the handbrake indicator is still on the dashboard.

nothing wrong with the brake system as the garage confirmed.

garage played around handbrake light switch and told me its loose or a faulty switch. because when they touch the switch the indicator on dashboard is removed. (probably handrake is not touching the switch properly when i put the handbrake down)

the handbrake light switch is visible and below the handbrake.

where and how much is a new handbrake light switch for a is200 se?

check your lights, its also a bulb fail indicator

i had this problem and it was one of the bulbs just replaced it
