Can any one help???

I've got power steering fluid leaking from the front right of the car i've tried looking and even taken off the wind deflector off from under the car and still can't see where it's leaking from the pump seems fine!! nice and dry and clean!!

It's leaving puddles where ever i take the car.

Any one got a break down drawing of the Gs300 mk1 that would be great.

Hope you can help because i'm going away next week and the car will be left at the airport! don't want to come back to a dry pump and big puddle!!!

Here are some pictures:-

http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/power_...pump/index.html

try this bro, i think its the same,

if the pump is allright you could have a corroded pipe, try starting car up getting some one to do a full lock to lock whilst you stare at them pipes, or get a rag with some degreaser on or a cleaners and really scrub the pipes underneath?

If it's not raining tonight i'll have another go stick it on the ramps.

Thanks again

Are you sure you havn't got a leaking air-con condensor or dryer?

Mine has a leak in the condensor in the bottom right hand corner - exactly where you show on your pictures, and I get the oily/gunky stuff just like yours, and mine is a confirmed condensor leak. They add some kind of oil to the air-con as well as the gas & dye :winky:

Hi Tony

I know the condenser leaks. my air con is knackered! :tsktsk:

It is power steering fluid because there was a puddle of it in the wind defender when i took it off.

I'm going to jack it up and get under the car but the power steering pump is really clean!! :duh:

I'll let you know what i find. . .

Regards Craig
