thanks for the link, just add to fav's :D

what sort of spec car do you have ? and hows it powered ?

I have a few,

A Yokomo YR-4M for drifting, all carbon but hard to find parts for.

A TC3 (electric) for outdoor racing, very popular

A TC4 team (electric) for indoor racing, one of the best you can buy.

A CEN GX1 (nitro) again for outdoor racing. Superb and a lot of fun

All are four wheel drive.

6 different shells, all sprayed differently.

what parts do you struggle to find, tuning parts or just replacement original parts

Sorry for High jacking your thread Jay M

Its complete, after much loosing parts and lookig for hours for them to find them stuck to my le etc its done, used superglue which was too harsh for the plastics and kinda reuined the finish but still pretty cool lol.

Nice, someone else into RC cars as well.

Do you circuit race or drift race?

Yep,

into RC cars, have not done any proper racing, just me and a couple of friend meet up at the local car park and have a blast around.

currently i have the following:

Yokomo yr4m (i have spare one for parts :) ) running a hot 10 turn motor on this, very quick

Traxxas Truck

HPI pro 4 with a few hop ups

Kyosho Subaru

nice one, same type as my one, one tip though, dont use superglue as its way too harsh for the plastics and ruins the lights, makes them look all fogged up. good luck with the project though!

PVA glue is best for the lights :D I know as I have a minature model of mine! Even with Trd bodykit! :D

Yes mate it is the same make, Yokomo, just a different model. Its the OEM replacement parts that are tricky to get hold of. Have remade the upper deck now with a few of my own tweaks.
