Does anyone know about gearbox servicing, as in what milage you should have it done, service intervals etc...

my 2000 GS300 Sport has done 107k and was wondering if im better getting it done :)

Hi,

What colour is the autobox fluid?

It should be a sort of bright red colour.If its slight brown in colour then it could do with a fluid change.

Im not sure with the Gs,but most autoboxs have a oil filter,if your going to change the fluid it would be worth check if theres a filter and change that at the same time.Only use the Lexus/Toyota autobox fluid because other brands dont mix well and can sort of turn in to jelly from what ive read on here.

yes it has a filter, dont know what colour it is though. :)
