Not Cologne, Berlin. 3 weeks. I'll let you know, but the ISF is coming I can promise you. And no seatbelt problems, squeaks or rattles, just pure power and M3 chomping capabilities. :)

Well this is what it'll have to spar with, a picture fo what I believe is the new M3...

Looks like someone has painted the outside of the rims black. there's hardly any tyre!!!! Looks mean. No match for the F though. :D

I love these debates about what is and what isn't coming! And while they are interesting and good fun I won't be popping round to my dealers just yet! :shifty:

I'll take an order on a ISF thats how confident I am that its coming. We also have an order in for an LF-A too!!!!

:D

A brief chat with my dealer suggested that it will have the usual 4 doors rather than 2, but that it's pretty much ready-to-rock. He has sat in one and seen the promo video, although has not driven it. He personally was surprised that they didn't release the coupe/cabrio first, but there we are.

Your dealer is correct, 4 doors not 2, reason being is that the m3 is a coupe and a 4 door 4 seater will appeal to more people than a 2 door coupe with foldy seats. So dads can be cool cats and beat m3's and rs4's off the lights!! with child in tow (safely of course)

And the coupe/cabrio is in development, but the 4 door saloon is already here, so it makes sense to make a 4 door 1st and then drop the beasty 5.0 into a coupe in 2 years when the coupe and coupe cabrio are released.

The only way is up. I cant wait to see and drive one. i've been told it looks the nads though by boss. I may get a sneak peek in Berlin next week. if i do i'll try to get some more info. :shifty:

  • 2 months later...

:D

not even in the US

You will be made to eat your words. 5.0 v8, 400+bhp, new paddle shift auto box from LS460, spoilers, extended arches and not limited to 155mph either!!

Leave the M3 in its exhaust flames.............. :D

oh hum...ok ill eat my words

Hope you've got your plate, knife and fork ready Mat, cos you are gonna start having to eat those words now. Told you they would bring out the IS-F. V8 400+ Horses and yes it will destroy the M3.

I have a customer about ready to order one, any more takers?? :D

the cabrio looks fantastic, i cant wait untill it comes out as i think i will be having one any idea on cost yet?

If you take the cost of a sport is250 now, £27k, add about £4k on top and I reckon thats about right.

Dunno about the IS-F, probably £45-£50k, Gotta be that for a 5litre V8 Monster and then a bit more if they do a cabrio version.

I've onl managed to see one decent picture of a cabrio, but it was a photoshop one, anyone got any good ones?

:)

If it's more than the new M3, people will buy the beemer. Lexus will have to maintain keen pricing!

I've checked out the S4 (not RS4 yet) and boy is that one awesome machine. Feels much quicker than the quoted 5.7s 0-60 time (feels much quicker than the GS450), so the RS4 must be wicked!! that I would say is the Bench mark...

It's got a V8, 4 doors, and AWD...but it costs nearer £50k...£+ if you want the toys...and does 60 in 4.8s!

Oh, and guaranteed not to rattle  :winky: :tomato:
