Without satnav?............lift up felt padding revealing 4 bolts, then take hold of the seat heater switches the ones with the t/control snow con buttons.....grip tightly and give a sharp tug pulling towards you revealing another couple of bolts.....careful when pulling the whole unit out as you can if not careful scratch the dash.

if the SE or sport, just place your hand under the heated seat switches and pull out.

there are two bolts there (10mm I think)

lift up the felt mat on the top and there is two bolts (10mm I think)

give the air blower and top section a good tug to free it.

you should be left with the heater controll section and stereo

Undo the two bolts that are left in the top

NOW TAPE UP THE TWO DASH BOARD EDGES with masking tape, trust me.

now just pull out the stereo and heater controll and unconect the plugs in the rear.

you can now split the heater and stereo

like magic! :hocus-pokus:
