Gs300 Mk1 Traction Control

Hi I know that the UK cars dont have traction control unlike the USA ones. I ask the question though!

Does the UK car have the fixings to install the traction control? I have seen ECU's for the traction control system for sale in the US, could I just install this into the apropriate vacant slot on a UK car?

My guess is most likely no, otherwise I am thinking about getting Racelogic TC when I have saved a few pennies up hopefully before we get all the rain and snow soon. Has anyone got any experience of TC on a mk1 gs300 sport and could offer some advice! Its the main family car now as I am getting rid of the 300zx not practical in bad weather and nor is the GS300 as I have found out and I will worry once the snow comes, I will stick with it though as I have found them such good cars, everyone I know likes it, I opted for the Mk1 Sport over the Mk2 and I dont regret it for a second, just want to look after it as much as I can now though. I plan to keep it for quite a few years to come. Whats your vie :) w?

TC is definately on my list to get, though with christmas I dont have the wonga at the moment to invest in it. I came off a roundabout yesturday near a petrol station and accelerated a second early, lest say I am glad the road was two lanes wide in my direction, all was ok but drifting sideways steering from the rear when you dont want to was not my idea of a quiet drive home. I have had that problem quite a bit in the past with my 300zx and you have to treat it smoothly but I didnt expect the lexus to be quite as bad. I drive really really carefully now in this weather! The exhibit did get a few college kids waiting as the bus stop cheering from the side of the road! If only they knew it was not on purpose, I felt like a real arse, you can get caught out so easily if you are not careful. I know what I will be saving my pennies for now!
