First Service

Think my service may be due, is it every 10,000 miles or 20,000??

I phoned and booked it in at Lexus Edinburgh and courtesy car as well (which they charged me £10+VAT - is this right).

Anyway just checking if everyone else service is 10,000 and any idea roughly how much a service is??

10,000 or 12 months...which ever comes first.

The £10 is an Insurance fee. You could get that waived provided you insure it yourself. just remember that even if you insure it yourself, the Excess will be anything between £200 and £1000!!! Your insurance company won't foot that bill - you will!

How much did they quote for the service? I am sure someone mentioned £180ish...Lexus did say originally that the new IS was cheaper to service, but that's £30 more than an IS200...

Still having issues with my central locking as well so cant wait to get that looked into. I hope they can fix otherwise am I supposed to live with that for the rest of my life!!
