Can anyone help, I get a hot rubbery smell after driving any distance, I noticed

that my front tyres were wearing on the outer edge so I booked my car in to have the tracking

checked and it was miles out, but I still have a slight smell is this normal? heat

from the brakes etc.

any feedback would be much appreciated

I have the same with my IS200, but from the rear after a quick (ie fast) trip. I thought that it was the straps on the exhaust, but it seems to be the tyres (Yokohamas) which get hot to the touch!

Yeah this is common to the IS200 after a journey consisting of high speeds and length.I think the exhaust becomes that warm that either the rubber mountings start to smell or the body underseal does, smells like burning tyres
