can anybody help or advise me ,is it possible to run 2 sub's and an amp from the standard head unit in a 2001 200sport

this is what i have 2 10'' 400watt splx sub's and a 1000 watt splx amp and 2 one farad power cap's are they Worth putting in or not

you can do this but you need to change the line input to the amp...i dont think the Standard IS stereo has phono output plugs so you will need to take speaker signals to the amp, if you amp only takes phono connectors then you will need to buy a little box that converts from speaker signal to the phono type...

my mate did it like this with his Pug 106 using the standard stereo...worked quite well too.

thanks a lot mate thats a big help to me, maybe if i wasn't so thick i would have looked in the ice section first and saved a bit more time to get the job done
