Help, Dead Speedo & Windows / Abs Light On / Steering Heavy /

Recommended Posts

HELP,

I did post this in the engine/transmission subforum, but now I know it is not a engine/transmission problem.

On my 98 GS300, my speedo just died, the steering is very heavy and I cant change out of P without using the over-ride.

Also the brake & ABS lights are on, the elec windows are all dead and the cruise control works. (so its not a speed sensor)

Does anybody have any ideas? Would it be a common fuse/relay blown ? Anybody have a schematic?

Any ideas>??????

Thanks

Further update,

The ignition fuse (15A) was blown at the drivers kick-panel, so it was replaced everything worked perfect but then it blew after a minute, replaced again and again varying from a few seconds to a minute. It only happens when the engine is ticking over, and does not blow when the ignition is on.

Does anybody have a schematic as I am now looking at the ABS?traction control system.

Any help appreciated!!!!!!
