right, just got back from the car park, have done the sound deaden on the bonnet.

ive lost my patience to take those nasty little black bolt(which securing the original sound deadening),sso,i decided not to put this on again, save me lots of time, i use all my strength to take the whole deadening out without taking off them, then got the dynamat extreme on. after a short drive, can't notice the difference, can anyone tell me it's alright to leave it like this or worse than the original one?

and can anyone tell me how to take the back doors inside panel out as i am going to do the deaden?? :P :P please...will get u a drink when i meet you...

hi there.... were u expecting a lot of difference when putting in the bonnet sound proofing? the engine bay is actually very quiet and blocked from the cabin (as compared with say an altezza).

I would say maybe 70% of the noise comes thru into the cabin via the doors and the floor panels. Putting in deadening material in the doors greatly helps and also a sheet of proofing on the floor underneath the carpet will go a long way to reduce road noise.
