Engine Rebuild Help

My engine is ready to install back into the car. But before it is... we just want to double check a few things so there is no future probs and for piece of mind....

Mike (roadrash) might be able to answer some of the questions... as they are for the forged internals (wondering if its different than Lexus' figures..

1) What are the torque settings for the main bearing caps? (We've got the IS 200 figures but were wondering if they're different for the forged internals?)

2) What is the piston to bore clearance?

3) Which way round do the valve cut outs on the pistons go? Inlet or exhaust?

We've pretty much got the answers but just want to double check before its all fitted into the car :)

Thanks

Could this information be posted publicly please as I know one of the TOC guys is also after similar info and hasn't got it yet - would come in handy for all future people doing this as well :)

Thanks in advance!

No worries mate.

I'm not sure if the figures will be the same though because they will be different internals  This is why I'm posting on here hopefully Mike (Roadrash) will also know if there different or not. The garage I'm using have the IS 200 figures but for genuine Lexus parts but we just wanted to double check.

I'll let you know the outcome either way mate.

I'll email you Adie :)

Thanks Mark
