Being the motoring geek I am, I had to share this with you.

When Porsche were going to introduce it's sports car in 1963, it wanted to call it the 901. Peugeot objected, claiming it was using the x0x model range since the thirties. Porsche changed it to 911, and Peugeot was happy.

What trivial facts can you share? :D

Oh here's another one. Some folks reckon the Lexus name originally stood for Luxury EXport to USa...
