Hello All.

Just Joined the forum as I intend to buy (an elderly) LS400. Intend to start looking after Christmas with a view to being mobile by Easter at the latest.

It will be a little mid life (crisis ?) Birthday treat to myself. I've wanted one ever since I saw one for sale locally many years ago. It was a Champagne colour with cream interior. Don't appear to be many in this colour scheme.

Do do your homework by looking through the LS section of the forum before you buy one.They are very expensive to put right if theres stuff wrong with them.

Thanks to all for the welcome. Buying advice taken onboard. When I find a car I like I'll probably get it professionally inspected. Thing is I'll be buying a car thats around 10 years old so I expect to have to do some fettling.
