i test drove one last year and yeah was alot slower but to be honest i just wanna be sensible, too many close calls in my supra....

plus its just not practical as i use it as an everyday driver....

speed bumps are a pain, and you dont ever really get to use its full potential...

i think the is200 refinment will be a nice change, so anyone who wants to swap ill be happy to!!!

i was tempted by the rs200 but my last 4 cars have been imports and they seem to be a pain gettin parts so not as keen!

Welcome, parts aren't a problem for the RS200 they are easily available over the net and from Prolex and TDI, i drove a IS200 last week and you can really notice the diiference in performance.

Hi and welcome to LOC!

Mine's currently for sale if interested :o

Consider a swap for a 400bhp supra?????

was following an is300 today, what sort of performance/economy are they???

if they have the supra N/A engine i guess they are approx 220bhp?

211bhp

you can find stats on www.lexus.co.uk under used car section

IS300s are all autos by the way, but quicker than IS200 manual.

only 211?? wow so the rs200 is up on spec obviously not in terms of torque!

auto only... well if its box is a smotth as the supra then that should be fine,

so anybody fancy a swap??? / part ex??
