06 Is220d Input For Front Screen

Hi all,

Im new to this site, so go gentle! I have recently purchased an 2006 IS220d and have started playing around with it.

Already had it chipped and have bought a set of wheels and suspension just waiting to put them on.

Next thing to mess about with is the audio/visual system, I am looking to get an extra input to go onto the front screen so I can add a TV tuner on to the front screen. Im putting screens in the headrests and want to get what ever is on the head rests onto the front screen.

I have been looking around on the net and cant really find a solution, so if somebody can help would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome, as far as i know most of the factory screens don't come with any additional inputs and as far as i know its illegal to have a tv display functioning while driving, unless its a voice gps screen, im sure someone will be along soon to correct me :shutit:

I think this bit of info needs a bit more explaining - you may well be the first..

What's the spec changes?

Effect on consumption?

Effect on low end lag/driveability?

And probably should ask about cost I suppose
