Ect Power Button

Has anyone tried using the Powerbutton feature? Also do you notice if you get a lot more acceleration when using this? How about fuel consumption?

The ECT/Power button sweet for traffic light getaways and when overtaking. It makes the auto box stay in each gear for higher revs. Fule cons. will obviously take a hit but for the best control try swapping gears manually. It is excellent and I have scared two lexii sales-guys when demo-ing the manual on a clear road.

I have found the ECT power button to be a real kick in the backside B) , as has been mentioned I imagine the fuel consumption does go up a bit

great when you try and floor the car and nothing happens.. hits a dead spot.. hit the ETC button and whey hey!

Silly question totally unrealted to the subject. Does anyone know how I can make my car bigger in the pic wihtout too much distortion? ;)

you need the original image to be sized to 150pixels wide max and sized from a larger image.

Then get the image sizes H & W and add them to your profile.

Have to say my first platinum Ice SC430 I left it in power mode all the time, never really noticed the Mpg….or chose to ignore it 😉

I mentioned somewhere years ago that on my V8 4ltr Ls400 driving perpetually in PWR seemed to actually slightly improve the mpg …… now on E5 of course …… not checked it for a while tho’
