AOL .art files

hiya,

if you are using IE6/Windows and cannot view .art files (I couldn't) then give this a whirl...

- download the attached AOLSUPP.ZIP

- extract all 8 files to a temporary folder (or just onto your desktop)

- right click on the AOLSUPP.INF file

- select 'Install'

You should then be able to view .art files.

Disclaimer: no guarantees this will work, but it did for me on my Windows 2000/IE6 setup.

At best it'll work, at worst it'll reformat your hard drive and melt your monitor :D

btw - i scanned the files with Norton AV and the latest virus info, so it should be clean.

well i think that all images should be saved as universal Jpg. we get some users who use Macs, Linux plus browsers like Opera and netscape.

I dont want to put anything to do with AOL on my machine... sounds like another AOL restriction again! :P:P

my two pennies worth... save as JPG :smilegrin:
