New KUMHO Ultra-High Performance Tire!

Recommended Posts

You heard it here first people! One of my contacts who is the exculsive importer of the wheels I will most likely fit on my 350Z, has just informed me of this new Kumho dubbed: "ECSTA MX" It promises to compete against the likes of the BFGoodrich g-Force KDW & Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar which are among the "Best on Earth" in terms of all out exotic-car performance! And with AA traction & a treadwear of 220 that would make it quite exceptional. We're talking better than Pilot Sport, S-03, and yes my favorite the T1-S. And like their current Ecsta, it will be "considerably" less $$$ than anything in the ultra-high performance class! According to my boy by as much as $100 less per tire!

I pulled this straught from their site:

ECSTA MX

35/40/45/50/55 Series, 'Y' Speed Rated, BSW

The Ecsta MX optimizes dry handling without compromising wet grip with advanced silica compounding and a distinctive tread pattern developed by synergizing the latest technological concepts from competition and aircraft. The Ecsta MX is best suited for the sophisticated driver that demands maximum ultra high performance for the street.
