Hi,

I was thinking of upgrading my lights and install a HID kit.

Has anybody installed one in their IS200?

Where is the best place to get one from?

What are the costs?

Is there an alternative, like any recommended bulbs?

If you have a look around the forum you'll find a few guys with kits from eBay and Prolex - personally I had one of the Meccatune kits from Prolex on my old IS and they were a huge improvement over stock!

I paid around £300 for mine a couple of years ago, they've come down since then.

You can get alternative bulbs which are white but in terms of light output they're a waste of money really, when you see them compared to a car with HID's, the difference is night and day :)

To answer you're question, yes, lots of members have HIDs fitted. Myself included.

Bought from Prolex-Uk, check the website for prices, and in all honestly, anything other than the HID kit, i.e the bulbs etc etc are a waste of time.
