did you get figures for what there cars were pushing at the wheels, or are they all calculated figures for the flywheel

Ye we got both figure at the fly and at the wheels, think mine was only something like 155bhp at the wheels

Is yours 187bhp at the wheels Robin?? IF so whats it at the fly?

I only have a reading for the wheels

my dyno read out is in the TDI forum if you wanna have a look

you will be able to calculate your transmission lose with your figures, would be inesting to see what % you lose

I recon I'm around 235 at the fly

I have stock induction and a Powerflow system with sports cat.

I meant to ask at the meet, if yours is tiptronic i presume it can be held in a specific gear, why couldn't you go on the dyno then?

More complicated than that from what i've been told....

basically with tiptronic you can select the highest gear and she won't go above that but will hit the rev limiter, problem is that she will still use every other up as far as the highest selected... ie if i set it in 4th and floored it, she would start in 1st and continue upchanging at the rev limit till it reached 4th....

btw ... updated your car on the list :)

So all on the dyno were 6speeds?

Good results guys/girls.

Louise's stocky seems to make pretty good power, any reason (better gas/clean maf sensor/octane booster???)

And it was a 1999 tezza.... it did fart out alot of black smoke near the limit when dyno-ing though,

So no secret? Just the farting? haha

No really...what is the reason lol? nothing?

(mine spits out smoke at times, but mine is older yet and has had the cats removed haha)

All manuals then I take it?

Yes all Manuals for the reason above :winky:

so would any1 care to post a list up of what they were pushing out at the wheels

also with this we can work out how much power is lost through the transmission

So i got 196.8 at the fly and i think 148 at the wheels. Embarrassing figure!!:blush:
