Hiya,

Got my management light come on the other week, got it checked out and is the O2 sensor, Bank 2 sesnor 1 whcih i assume is the sensor at the front near the manifold?

Rang Lexus to get a price on the part and got a a whopping £194 for the sensor. Any one know where I could get one cheaper that is compatiable but same quailty as the Lexus Branded sensor.

Cheers

Aky

There is a thread in the GS section, I think its titled Higher Mileage GS owners or something along those lines. It may well have been started by Manesh.

In that thread someone had purchased non lexus O2 sensors

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has tried a product called "Catclean", which cleans out the whole fule system down to the 02 sensors on the cat. Website is www.catclean.com. I have also noticed a full tank of petrol giving me 250 miles on my IS200, rather than 320 -350 2 months ago. I have no lights coming on the dash. Cheers.

Hi Aky, i have the same problem on my Lex, O2 sensor i think, Where did you get the part from please and how much?

To answer the Question i think it the second sensor further down the exhaust mid point, not sure but remember seeing one sticking out when my car was up a ramp.

my engine management light is on and my trc off light is flashing any suggestions whats up .

hello and welcome to you too - I must have missed your "hello" post somewhere...... get the fault code read then go from there otherwise you are just guessing, and if you reset the ECU to turn the lights off you are also wiping the fault code

You need to follow the advice given and find out what codes the ECU is showing. The Lexus dealer who reset the light for you should be able to tell you what codes were showing.

They shouldnt have just cleared anyway - as if there is a problem with something the light will just come straight back on again.

Continuing to drive without finding out what the problem is and getting it fixed can actually do damage...and/or effect fuel economy etc.
