Hi,

As far as i thought it was going to be simple to fit a sound system into my IS200

I bought the fascia kit, wiring kit, the stereo, the sub and amp!!

After the installation of all my wires the audio connector with the stereo did not fit the lexus wiring clips!!

After visiting a couple of electronic shops i was told you cannot get a audio connector/adapter for a IS200!!!!

They come with a standard amplifier and in order to fit sound it needs to be bipassed!!!!

I am totall confused, can you please advise me on this matter, how do i go around this problem!!!!

Any comments appreciated!!!!!

They are right, if you have an SE or Sport model it has an amp behind the glovebox that has to be by-passed.

There is a wiring kit on eBay that a few members on here use so you can run the OEM speakers with an aftermarket headunit.

TBH, if your going to install an amp and sub you'd be better rewiring the whole car.
