Center Parcs - Whinfall Forest

I am looking to book a weekend for the family (8 adults ages 20-53). I have found the website but nowhere can I find the cost of the various activities.

Does anyone have any info on where I can get this?

Any experiences of Whinfall owould be appreciated.

The only experience I have had was when we took the boys to the Sherwood Forest park about 12 years ago so more up-to-date memories and experiences would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of other alternatives to Center Parcs. With such a wide range of ages I need somewhere with lots of different things on offer. :)

Went to the one in Elverden forest twice last year, was great, loved it.

Think they sent through a book with the activities after I booked,

Just had a look, cant find it. Must have chucked it out.

Been to Whinfell 3 times. If you ring them, number via the net you can get prices, they do seem to change throughout the year. We have dones kiddies pony trecking, climbing, wife went to spa and bike hire.

Centre Parcs Whinfell is what used to be called Oasis.

ive been to centre parks about 12 times, really enjoy it, not been to the winfell one though, were trying that later this year. prices are not astronimical. most activities are group ones so if you split the cost it works out very cheap. badminton is about £4.50 per 45 mins tennis is about £5.50 spa's around £20 swimming is free. climbing wall outside is £13.00 inside for 20 mins is about £5.00. that should give you an idea. you get a book with it all in about 2 weeks before you go.

That would make sense. just outside Penrith.

As long as the facilities the same I would say go for it

Thanks to everyone for the advice.

Now booked for a Cumbrian Lodge for the whole family in April.

Are there any activities that you would recommend booking or is it ok to book things like tennis courts when you get there (and you know what the weather is doing!).

Anyone know what Penrith Golf Club is like?

if there's something special that you want to do, book it it early. if not don't worrie too much. Tennis courts and badminton courts are plenty everywhere else so I asume it's the same where your going. I think if you cancell an activity more than 24hrs in advance you get your money back.

I took my 8 year old daught on the 13 metre climbing wall, we both enjoyed that although she had never climbed before. The instructor was dead good as well.

My 4 year old likes the little pony treck.

Missus like the spa treatments.
