Is200 Done 43k Miles, 40k Service Needed?

Hi all

My Lex IS200 has done 43k miles...unfortunately I do not have my handbook to hand to check when the last service was done, but I've been told that a major service is due every 20k miles...

Also been told that a 40k service would cost me 465 quid... (but maybe they could discount)

My IS200 is a 2001 model and I don't really want to be paying 465 quid if i can help it.

Does anyone know where I can get this service done for the best price possible?

I'm based in Stevenage, Herts and willing to travel to pretty much anywhere in England, if the resulting cost will be cheaper.

Please advise!

Service is meant to be every year or every 10k miles. Which ever comes around quickest. I've now had my 50k / 5 year servive and the car has only done over 40k miles.

Chris.S of Lexus Hanley offers very good prices for services. The 40k service is currently offered at £274.53, but you may need to contact for latest prices?

As my car is 2001, it may be eligible for a 50k service.

Ill check the service history to find out if the 40k/4yr service was carried out :)
