I have a 2001 GS300 SE. I am thinking of replacing the standard air filter with a panel type by K&N or some other manyfacturer. Is it worth doing and if so, which one would be the best. What sort of difference would it make? Thanks again.

If you get a K&N it will be the last air filter you have to buy because you can clean them, i've always been very pleased with them on my Harley's. I doubt you will notice any difference unless you original filter is blocked

Well thanks for the info lads. I might as well keep it as it left the factory. It will always be serviced at Lexus so the air filter will be replaced as and when. Might as well hold out till I get a 430. Thanks anyway.
